1. Being blamed
for something I did not do and not getting a chance to explain
Why it exists: People do not want to accept the responsibility of
what they did and recognize they are at fault. People use it as a defense
mechanism, they want someone else to blame for their problems instead of facing them.
2. People who cannot
follow simple directions that are plainly written out for them
Why it exists: People expect things to be done for them; they want all
the benefits without the work or the effort. Because we live in a somewhat lazy
society, people want things handed to them. If they are already used to getting
things without working for them, it is what they always expect.
3. When after
getting gas, the screen for that pump says “Please see attendant for receipt”
Why it exists: No one is put in charge of making sure there is receipt
paper in each of the gas pumps and that it is always full.
4. When people
make messes, but do not clean up after themselves
Why it exists: In public areas, people believe that it is what “janitors”
are for; in private, no one else sees it but them.
5. Slow
internet connection
Why it exists: Because I live out in the country.
6. Traffic at
5 o’clock p.m.
Why it exists: There is not enough road space or the traffic light sensors are "off"
7. That
Chick-fil-a is closed on Sundays
Why it exists: Chick-fil-a strives to keep their old-school traditional view of keeping Sunday's for spending time with family.
8. Being told
how I should feel about things
Why it exists: People like to try to control everything.
9. When men
who do not even know me, feel comfortable enough or that they have the right to
tell that I have a nice “bottom”
Why it exists: We live in a society where men are comfortable say almost anything to a woman that he deems as a compliment.
10. Nasty public restrooms
Why it exists: There is no one in charge of the specific task of keeping them clean.
11. People who do not cover their cough or sneeze
Why it exists: Most people are only concerned for their own health.
12. People who walk out of the restroom without
washing their hands
Why it exists: Their hygienic habits are not of their own concern.
13. People taking out anger on innocent children
Why it exists: They only do what was done to them or they were never taught how to handle their anger.
14. People who drive on too closely to the person
in front of them
Why it exists: They may be in a hurry or have forgotten some of the driving lessons taught to them.
15. Sagging
pants
Why it exists:It was once considered a trend and even goes back to gang and prison culture.
16. When a scar brand new sandals on the sidewalk
Why it exists: Some sandals are made so the when you walk, there is
a gap between the inside of the shoe and your foot. Sometimes making you trip
when you are rushing.
17. When people continuously ask if they can touch
my hair or if my hair is real
Why it exists: People are made to believe that African-American women can not grow their hair long and that it cannot be that of a good grade. So when women see an African-American woman with good hair, they usually believe it weave.
18. The mispronunciation of my name on purpose
Why it exists: To catch my attention, to aggravate me, but usually to tease me.
19. When people decide they do not want something
in a store and just put it anywhere
Why it exists: They find it too much effort to simply walk and put it back.
20. Coworkers
who decide to eat food from the staff refrigerator knowing that it is not
theirs
Why it exists: There are no cameras in the break room and know that
no one will find out it was them.
I did not find it difficult to create this bug list. The most difficult part was to figured out why some of them exists.
