Annually throughout elementary, the school had a fundraiser project it would do. Each kid would go home with order sheets and a book full of products that we would sell in order to help the school raise money. For us children, what we wanted was the prizes promised to us for selling certain levels dollar amount of products. There were different levels of prizes; the more we sold the higher the level of prize we qualified for. This also meant for the better prizes we had to sell more. That was my first introduction to entrepreneurship.
I enrolled in ENT 3003 (1) because it is a required class of
my degree in Business, (2) because I plan to one day own my own business, and (3)
to learn the entrepreneurship process. What I hope to get out of this class is
the ability to recognize & evaluate opportunities and learn how to develop
a successful business concept. I hope to be able to use the skills I learn in
this class, in my professional and personal life.
